Currently, I am working for Nexus Architecture and providing hand drawing and computer drafting services. I am in training to do residential design, roof and floor framing plans, construction elements and details. I hold my undergraduate degree in Architecture from Voronezh State Architectural and Engineering University in Russia.
My education has included fine art training in pencil, ink, water color and oil with an emphasis on classical architecture. I am currently finishing my Masters of Architecture at the University of Colorado in Denver. My studies at different countries and schools have enriched and widened my knowledge and skills. I am happy to have had the opportunity to learn different school approaches to create architectural design and to learn architectural software. I have also learned to speak English fluently and to communicate in professional settings, I am very proactive and able to fit into a team. I am competent in both metric and imperial systems.
I have a passion and commitment for creating iconic buildings, and study to combine architectural styles such as classical/traditional and modern. I am also interested in the creation of energy efficient buildings and using energy efficient and environmental /health safe materials.
My personal accomplishments include winning best of show at the Aurora Community College Student Art Show in 2004
and 2005 for realism and surrealism.
I have a lot of hobbies: dancing Latino-American and Modern Ballet styles, participating in preparation of concerts and celebrations for kids (I am currently teaching dance class at Russian Art Center), playing in role of different characters. For a fun time, I also like ice-skating, snow and water skiing, hiking, and have also tried paragliding. I also enjoy playing guitar and piano.
